Long (Hiệp Trần Nghĩa), a Vietnamese driver from Southern California, answers a late-night call for a ride. Already in her pajamas, she reluctantly accepts and picks up a man, Tây (Dustin Nguyen), and his two companions. But the men, inmates recently escaped from an Orange County jail, take Long hostage at gunpoint, implicating him in their escape plan. When complications arise, the fugitives and their hostages hide out in a motel and a tense wait ensues.
